I am Baby boomer. Which means I was born between 1946 and 1964. I am still motivated by appearance, but now with the added motivation to stay out of pain and keep moving in a functional and healthy body.
What I have learned over the years has been an accumulation of trying different styles of exercise and eating habit’s. I’ve been overweight on and off over the years starting at 17 and know how it can impact one’s confidence. I started working in gyms at the age of 18 in the Aerobic era, and unfortunately had several injuries to overcome, which lead me to my first Yoga class at the age of 24.
I now teach classes and privates where the emphasis is on stability, strength and mobility creating good movement habits for this next phase of our life.
This is achieved using weights/bands or own body weight to stress and challenge the muscles used everyday for every day tasks. Thus allowing the 55+ age group to continue to be independent, vibrant and to experience vitality. I would love to assist you on your journey towards feeling better and being the best possible YOU.
It is my belief that we can all make better choices every day. “It’s never too late! ”
